Friday 9 July
The 10th Fuse kicks off in superb style - tonight there's a heady cocktail for all to enjoy!
7.00pm Fountain of Youth
Fountain of Youth are a brilliant young local trio with a passion for music. Influenced by such bands as The Foo Fighters and Jet and the Wildhearts they are an outstanding talent and play Punk/Power Rock 'n' Roll.
They are: Luke Bricket Haycock - vocals/guitar, Jake Brown - drums and Bea Morris - bass.
8.00pm Muddy La Fete avec amis
This top French/Canadian bass player brings his star studded acoustic band to Fuse, following a ‘Coast to Coast’ tour of Europe. Fine rootsy, bluesy music spiced with a malty, latin tinge.
9.15pm The Shooters
A home grown full throttle R&B band consisting of The Dog on Drums & vocals, The Guv'nor on Lead/Rhythm Guitar & Vocals, Dave 'Smokestack' Lewis on Bass and Lightnin' Slim on Lead/Rhythm Guitar and Vocals.
Fans of good-time rhythm & blues by Stevie Ray Vaughan, early ZZ Top, Jeff Healey, Buddy Guy etc. are in for a real treat when they witness the sublime talent of 'Lightnin' Slim' fresh from a theatre residency on Broadway, New York and two years teaching at The Dallas Guitar Institute.
The Shooters say they are delighted to be asked to join the line up at this year's Fuse Festival and look forward to having some fun with local friends past and present.
6.00 - 10.30pm
Fuse acoustic is all about local musicians having a chance to show what they can do. The tent buzzes with excitement and the raw talent on display is awesome. Come along and enjoy the entertainment on offer or if you've got a special talent why not get in touch by either emailing:

8.00pm Fuse Session
Bring your instrument or just your voice and join our very own Dave Simcox and Chris Newcombe playing and singing acoustic versions of songs from all sorts of genres.

9.00pm Comedy: Comic Rehash - the funniest bits of five years of Comic Relapse
Each autumn for the last five years, audiences have enjoyed brilliant and new comedy sketches at the 'Comic Relapse' sketch shows at the Lichfield Garrick, and in doing so raised funds for Comic Relief. This year, the writers are having a bit of a rest, so the audiences get to watch a selection of the brilliant sketches from past shows rather than being subjected to the new stuff.
And, as they have done for the past couple of years, the writers and performers of Comic Relapse are again bringing a taster of the show to Fuse to whet a few appetites for the show in September. But this year, on Saturday afternoon, as an extra treat, the Comic Relapse team are looking for help from men aged between about 18 - 180, especially those who enjoy embarrassing their family and friends, to take part in "Strictly Come Dad Dancing" their inimitable contribution to "Dance your socks off".
Comic Rehash will be performing their full show at the Lichfield Garrick on September 24 and 25. Every ticket sold makes a contribution to Comic Relief (registered charity 326568).
